Curtis Henry wins the HooDoo Half-Marathon

We’re getting a little bit closer to normal bit by bit. The HooDoo Half-Marathon’s return Saturday morning was a sure sign of that.

The sixth annual running of the half-marathon got started at Outdoor Trax in the morning with Curtis Henry coming in first place overall with a time of 1:22:25. Nick Janssen of Fairbanks took second place with a time of 1:22:58, not far behind Henry.

Andrew Bishop finished in third place with a time of 1:23:16 while Logan Mowry finished fourth as he completed the course in 1:25:03. The top female runner and the fifth overall finisher was Shalane Frost with a time of 1:26:08.

Erik Schoen was the sixth place finisher with a time of 1:26:49 while Neill Toelle was seventh at 1:27:09. Megan Binkley was the second best female competitor and eighth overall finisher at 1:38:26. The top ten was rounded out by Jennifer Love (1:29:48) and Jacob Case (1:33:45).
