Obituaries sent through this submission form can include up to 500 words. The price is $100. Price includes optional photo and/or veteran flag. Email longer obituaries to obituary@newsminer.com. The price is $100 plus $25 per 50 words above 500. Obituaries can be up to 1,000 words. If you wish to include a photo, attach it in the email as a JPEG image. Include your phone number, or after emailing the obituary, call the newsroom at 907-459-7572 to process payment. All obituaries will be proofread prior to publication. Please spell out acronyms on first reference, and avoid using symbols in lieu of words, such as & for and.
• Obituaries can be found online at newsminer.com/obituaries. They usually appear online the day they appear in print. Visitors may sign the online guestbook.
