Democrats should be pro-life

Oct. 28

To the editor: The upcoming Nov. 6 election will be happening amid the memories of recent sorrowful, violent situations in our nation: mailed pipe bombs, killings in a Kentucky Kroger store and the shooting in a synagogue in the Squirrel Hill area of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Tragically, some of the November candidates, nationwide as well as in Alaska, advocate even far more killings via abortion. A mother with a fetus growing in her womb has no “right” whatsoever to abort her unborn fetus. The unborn fetus, boy or girl, has the same God-given right to be carried to term and allowed to live just as the child’s mother and father have been. I am a registered Democrat who votes and is totally against abortion as I have informed the Democratic Party.

The party and those candidates who support abortion need to change their views to pro-life and anti-abortion.
