FAIRBANKS—An unidentified man died in a structure fire Saturday night in the Chena Marina area.

The camper trailer-type structure was fully involved when fire crews arrived, according to Chena Goldstream Fire and Rescue Chief Frank Bracken.

Fire crews found a man's body inside, and the state fire marshal's office is investigating.

The camper trailer was parked on a lot at the corner of Cormorant Street and Minnow Lane. The structure was a total loss, Bracken said.

Several dogs were found outside on the property and were taken in by a rescue group that night, according to Bracken.

No additional information was available Monday because the fire marshal's office was closed.
