FAIRBANKS — A 46-year-old Fairbanks man was shot in his left arm after he was found inside an apartment bedroom in the 300 block of First Avenue.
About 4 a.m. the resident reported hearing a knock on an upstairs door, but found nothing. The man then saw a dark figure inside one of the bedrooms and fired a single shot.
The intruder was transported to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The case is under investigation. No arrests have been more or charges filed.
