FAIRBANKS - Alaska State Troopers in Fairbanks have not responded to any serious problems form the storm, and have been mostly dealing with reports of downed trees and power lines, according to spokesperson Megan Peters. 

Dispatchers with Fairbanks Police Department said the city received a number of calls overnight for trees on roadways, but so far no major issues have arisen.
 
Dispatchers said, as of 8:45 a.m., they had received no reports of serious injury due to the storm.
 
The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities cleared several trees from University Avenue Wednesday night, according to spokesperson Hannah Blankenship, but she said she wasn't aware of any major blockages occurring in town.

The department dispatched a technician to remove a tree that was partially blocking a portion of Chena Hot Springs Road on Thursday morning, and, as of 9 a.m. the removal process was still taking place, Blankenship said.
