FAIRBANKS — The University of Alaska Museum of the North, 907 Yukon Drive, is offering two art workshops for adults in April. Participants will experiment with color, texture and materials. No previous experience is necessary.

The first workshop, naturalist printmaking, will be offered from 5-7 p.m. April 12 and 14 in the museum’s Creativity Lab. Participants will explore naturalist drawings and make copper plate prints using objects from the museum’s collections as inspiration.

The second workshop, collage, is offered 5-7 p.m. April 25 and 27 in the museum’s Creativity Lab. Artists will experiment with a variety of materials and get inspired by museum objects.

Space is limited, so advance registration is required. The cost is $100 per person and $90 for museum members.
