FAIRBANKS — Residents in Delta Junction and Fairbanks will get a chance to chat with U.S. Rep. Don Young, R-Alaska, in the next few days.

Young is holding a community meeting at the Trophy Lodge in Delta Junction at 11:30 a.m. today. The congressman will speak on a range of issues, but will focus on energy, his press secretary, Luke Miller, said. He also will touch on military issues and Interior outdoor issues, including ideas about future legislation pertaining to management of national parks.

Young also will participate in next week’s Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce candidate forum on Tuesday at the Carlson Center. The candidate forum begins at noon.
