43-year-old Bethel woman found dead in home

BETHEL, Alaska - A 43-year-old woman was found unresponsive in Bethel, the second to die within a week.

KYUK reports (http://is.gd/tJsKsu) Minnie Lake's body was found Wednesday in a home and transported to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Police are investigating the death, and have sent her body to the state medical examiner's office in Anchorage.

On Nov. 15, the body of 16-year-old Elena Herman was found in a heated shop building in Bethel.

Police are waiting for autopsy results to determine her cause of death.
