FAIRBANKS — Darren Franz has been named Alaska regional business banking manager for Wells Fargo, the bank announced Thursday.
Franz had most recently been based in Fairbanks as Northern Alaska area president. His new position, based in Anchorage, will involve leading 85 employees who serve business customers from Ketchikan to Barrow. Franz has been with Wells Fargo for 20 years since joining the company as a management trainee.
The company has 950 employees in Alaska, with a network of 60 banking, mortgage, insurance and investment offices in the state.
