Strong turnout at Golden Towers

Voting at the downtown Golden Towers apartments had slowed to a crawl as the evening neared 7:30. But election workers said the day’s total turnout was strong, stronger than past election years that included a presidential race. Read more and add a comment

Voters torn over voting for Ted

In interviews at the polling stations, reporter Amanda Bohman is finding that many people had trouble making up their minds about whether to vote for U.S. Sen. Ted Stevens, R-Alaska, given his recent conviction for failing to report home improvements and gifts.
