FAIRBANKS — The Susitna Valley Rams swept the Tri-Valley Viking Warriors on Thursday night in a pair of Central Interior Conference high school basketball games in Healy.

The Rams, of Willow, cruised to a 51-23 win in the girls game and rallied for a 46-40 victory in the boys contest.

Four nonconference games are scheduled tonight at Monroe Catholic and Eielson.

The Monroe Catholic Rams girls team is slated to face the Delta Junction Huskies in an endowment game at 5:45 p.m. in Boileau Hall.

The game doesn’t count for either team’s record and proceeds of the contest go the Alaska Schools Activities Association.

At 7:30 p.m. in Boileau Hall, Monroe’s boys play host to the Wasilla Warriors in a game that counts toward each team’s overall record. Monroe is 4-1 on the season following its runner-up finish in the Service Cougar Tip-Off Classic in Anchorage last weekend.

The Eielson Ravens play host to the North Pole Patriots, with the boys game set to start at 6 p.m. and the girls game at 7:30 p.m.

On Saturday, Wasilla visits West Valley for a boys game at 1:30 p.m.
