FAIRBANKS — Another round of vehicle vandalism was reported Saturday night in the Cripple Creek subdivision, a week after 10 vehicles were reported having windows shot out with a pellet gun in the same community.

This time the owners of four vehicles parked along Fiddle Way, Violin Circle and Kallenberg Road, reported having windows shot out, said Trooper Brian Haley with the Alaska State Troopers. Residents reported both rounds of vandalism occurred between about 10 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday. In both cases the vehicles shot at were parked on the side of the road or within sight of the road.

Troopers do not yet have suspects in the case, but a suspicious vehicle was reported Friday night.

Troopers plan to patrol the area Saturday evening and during the day. They are asking that anyone who might have information about the vandalism or who has experienced recent damage to a vehicle, even suspicious windshield dings, to call troopers at 451-5100.
