They were here first and I know numerous natives that have never taken any handouts. A native friend of mine has worked since he was nine put his daughter through college and will retire this april all from his own hardwork (no handouts).Keep your stereotypical hate mongering to yourself. I know people from many ethnicities that are great hardworking people. The real issue is who would be the best candidate for the alaskan people.

Exaggerate much? My wife and I have six kids also(blended family). Don't lump people with big families in with this lady. Here is some more accurate information. 2 adults 6 kids = 1 load of laundry a day. Fuel = no significant difference. Electric = no significant difference. Gas = $120 a week, would be lower but we have a big vehicle. Food = $1200 a month. Ever hear the saying live within your means? My children have everything they need. Does my family need $1200 per person? Not really. Will we take it? You bet.
