Alaska west trucks drive verry fast up and down the dalton hwy. too fast.Remember last november when another one of their trucks killed a sourdough express driver? I think the company pushes their drivers to do it. Maybe some day they will learn to respect the road and other drivers instead of thinking the road is owned by alaska west!

It is not the governments duty to do crap like this!It is the governments job to police our streets,clear snow from the roads
and fire protection(for the ones that live close to town).Maybe instead of pissing money away on stuff the government could provide fire protection for those of us who live out of town with our tax dollars.

The firefighters #1 work too few hours in the day(physically work not just being there),#2 make too much money,#3 have benifits most of us in the private sector do not have because of the cost and#4 have way too much time off.But the city has a big fat wallet and the city council needs the backing of the public employees unions so they can get tons of money to help them win elections. I think our tax dollars are being well wasted by the city and borough government machine.
