Well lets see i stopped going out to eat gave up my sunday drives out to hilltop that sucks love the food insulated my house as much as possible have been tucking money away for fuel installed monitor heaters to save which they do i must admit i have done my damn part to use less and try to consevere and the price of fuel and gas keep going up up up when will it stop yo i dont know. If i have done my part why dont government and the state do thiers and get started on finding cheaper alternatives. I have done all i can besides moving into a one room waterless cabin that sounds like fun. So quit telling me to cut back and save. The state is loving all the money coming in so is big oil with the huge profits they are wading through so if you think they want the price to go down you need to check yourself into the loony bin.

Ok people stop talking about the 1200.00 we cant have this handout sure the oil belongs to the people and is to benefit the people of alaska but stop asking about the money it is a handout. God forbid the money is used to benefit us like it suppossed to. Move south and leave. When i hear people that i thought were doing great start telling me the high fuel and gas and food prices are getting to them in a wierd way it mad me feel a little better. I dont know how a people afford these big houses and two cars and three or four kids that must cost a small fortune. But hey were alaskans if it gets to bad we can move into a cabin with no water and sewer and a wood stove and go back to the stone age. One thing about though what the hell do we do when we burn all the trees i dont really give a dink about trees but what happens when we run out of trees. We are alaskans though we as a people will figure it out without the state or government help.

1200.00 it should be triple that. Glad to hear more people agreeing that it is not a hand out i get so sick of hearing that it is our money but hey them politicians are the only ones that think they know how to use it best so screw them in my opinion. I bet we dont even see the money them great leaders will find a excuse to not give us our share.

Yeah what a dumb idea drill for our own oil and be less dependant on foreign oil. Open anwr and every other oil field in america and do it now. Great post's Alaskacub and ONAPA

Well i have been told the weak dollar is part of the high price of fuel also china and india are pushing the price higher. Lets not forget the tension in the middle east. Exactly when has there been peace over there. Is The war that we really need to be out of part of it. One of my favorites is when alot of storms are predicted for the gulf so investors get paraniod and the price goes up have always loved that one. Oh yeah supply and demand i have read reports on msn.com that america actualy used less gas this year than we did last year and on a cnn i found one that said usage was up so i dont know which to believe. I dont know of any shortage going on have we dipped into the reserve off the coast of mexico and i didnt hear about it cause there is a shortage. Will the price go down cause saudi has once upped production by 300,000 barrels a day according to msn, and have agreed to up it another 200,000 a day by the end of this month. Would it help to drill in anwr so we are less dependent on saudi oil no dont do that. Would big oil like it if the price went down i am betting no will they help it go down not likely. Why is it the national average is forty cents cheaper than us i have never got an answer that i really believed on that one. Oh well now you all can tell me what i am wrong about just hurry up cause its almost dinner time.

After filling my truck with gas and paying the electric bill and soon that dreaded fuel guy will want money for heating oil i cant afford to get a good drunk on. I personaly think these people like to get drunk and will not stop doing so until they either wake up and want to sober up and try to change their life or they die from the booze. Hopefully its not the later of the two.
