jroosterdude I think what outspoken is saying is get involved, attend the public meetings, write your legislators and the governor. If everyone posting here would email them on a daily basis they might start to get the message, and don't stop with just the local legislators, copy all of them. I won't try to figure out what bballmom is saying.

Wonder where all you folks were when they tore down all of the buildings on 1st Ave, oh yeah those were bars so it was okay. This plan has been on the books since the early 80's that I personally know of and has always included the tearing down of Sampsons. Not sure why everyone is so down on the Big I, it was a patron of the bar not the bar itself. Bet some of you folks are the ones who tried to get a stop order when they went to raze Irene's shack. Hate to see Sampsons go, been shopping there for 33 years. Hope they find a new location.

To add to Doug's comment about the CON, Mike Kelly is a Vice President on the Board for the Fairbanks Memorial Hospital. Could that be a conflict of interest?
I do, I can and I won't, its time for someone who will listen to the people from his district.

dobieman their house is assessed by the Mat-Su borough at over $500,000.00 and we all know that assessments are never over valued. Yeah right. Guess I better never run for office or I would have to explain how I built my home and other properties with help from family, friends and neighbors like most people I know. I think it used to be called a barn raising!

Wrong aa, I pay over $6,000 a year in borough taxes for a house and rec cabin, are you assuming that I voted for prop A and against prop B? You know what they say about assuming....

CEO, while we're looking for answers maybe we can gat the truth about some of Ted's land deals in Anchorage and Seward that made him or his friends millions. Oh and lets not passup the chance to get some answers on all of the money that went to Alaska fisherman who then hired his son Ben as a consultant. I too have voted for Ted for over 30 years, but I say its time for some new faces in Washington and lets not stop at Ted!

If I were one of Mr. Vandegraw's neighbors I would be demanding the state to get involved. Having bears around that are habituated to receiving food from humans can only lead to trouble for all involved.
