The grand scheme, concocted by the likes of the Republicans Kelly, Theriault, Con Bunde and the rest of their ilk. Remember the reduced Funding Formula these racist Carpetbaggers passed in 1998??? This is the result.
The deliberate underfunding of the village schools in order to kill them and ultimately the villages themselves puts them on the same moral level as:
-Custer, who liked to attack villages filled with women and children, and who was shocked when he ran up against warriors.
-Columbus, a mass murderer who died of Syphillis and revered by the non-native.
-Pilgrims, who lured the same Natives who saved their mangy butts from starvation,into a blockhouse and murdered them three years after the Natives saved their sorry butts.
Immigrant Carpetbaggers who like to steal anything not tied or nailed down.
How many so called Alaska Native leaders have their noses up these Carpetbaggers butts? Just about all the CEO's of the state chartered ANCSA Corporations!!!

dobieman is correct. The Neo Con Republicans, including our Pitbull with Lipstick, King Pinocchio(Pathological Liar and Pathological Failure) and Shotgun Cheney(Shotgunned his buddy while intoxicated) has blamed others for every negative action they've been exposed as doing.
Even though our Liar in Chief and the rest of his Neo Con Administration including the Neo Con Think Tanks put us into Vietnam, I mean Iraq, on a everchanging basis of lies, deceit and manipulated intelligence, they've managed to escape blame, although the Neo Con Think Tanks are funded by the same Neo Con owned Oil and Energy Conglomerates who now have their mitts on the Iraqi Oilfields..
Putting the blame on others who are paid to take the fall shows where the Neo Con Parasites morals are. Treason is Treason, by lying us into a war for the Neo Con profits, or by aiding and abetting the Treasonous actions of the Neo Con Parasites. Blood Money off the backs of over 4200 dead G.I.'s, Marines and Sailors who died in a country with no ties to 9/11.

Columbus was lost when he landed in Hispaniola. He figured he was in the Indies so he called the Natives.. Indians.. How the First Americans managed to get into the name Indians is beyond me, but maybe we all look the same to some non-natives.
Maybe because the First Americans don't know the origins of the word "Indians" or they don't care, but just the name "Indians" seems to have a negative effect on us. We have our own names for our ethnic groups, so why don't we use them, instead of carrying on the ethnic "Forced Assimilation" that is being forced on us so we'll give up the rest of our lands to the newcomers.
That and the continuous subtle messages that the First Americans are inferior, the constant attacks on our cultures and rights as First Americans, the enforced punishment for speaking our languages, leading to the almost extinguishment of them.... Which leads to the loss of self esteem.. Don't you think that that is the leading cause of our young people committing suicide??
Think about the consequences of the First Americans going along with the newcomers interpretation of us First Americans.. With some of our so called Alaska Native leaders who belong to and promote the same political party that's doing their damndest to wipe us out as a people.. All who are chanting they are "God Fearing People"..
As a matter of fact... The white mans bible is used as a legal precedent to steal the First Americans lands and to murder and commit genocide against the First Americans... Genesis 1:28... Was used to legalize the infamous Cherokee "Trail of Tears" where the Cherokees, Choctaws, Creek, Seminoles, and Chickasaws were uprooted and thousands of men, women and children died in a forced march from Virginia, West Virginia, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama and Florida,
The bible is used to legalize and condone the robbery and theft of our natural resources and lands, as well as the murder and genocide of the First Americans, and the Colonialism that exists today against the First Americans.
