Ok all of this is really confusing. An African American President? Will he be president of America or Africa? Just wondering how that will work?
I am so proud Gov Palin is white!! Now do you see just how stupid this all sounds? So "if" things go bad during his term will be blame the white half or the black half?
I'm not so sure we've come as far as we would like to think.

Well Pinhead, tell us how you are contributing to your community here in the Newsminer. You obviously have a crime problem down there. So what are you accomplishing by posting here in an Alaskan newspaper? Wouldn't your time be better spent away from the computer and out in your own community trying to make a difference? Oh Lord, please don't tell me the criminals in Philly are looking to the Newsminer for their guidance.

Way to go!! You turned a viable political argument into an attack on an entire city. I'm sure with your intelligence you would be an asset to either campaign. You obviously have a problem with the city of North Pole. It's only a short fifteen minute drive, come on out and clean the place up. We would love to have you.

Thank you once again Glow. There was nothing "smart alek" about my comment. My point is, the writer is obviously very poorly educated and admitting to where he goes to school. I'm sure he can beat me at any video game on the planet but can' t express a clear thought. I do appreciate you coming to their defense though. It's important that we as adults reenforce the idea that High school is more about popularity than education.
When I do make a "smart alek" comment you will be the first to know. Here goes the first one. Glow, why don't you pull your bottom lip over your head and swallow.

LHS Student, thanks for the insight. I would believe your side over any other based on your position. However, in an episode like this, anyone heading towards the violence will be dealt with by law enforcement. For their own safety they have to assume if you are heading into the violence you are about to be a part of it. I guarantee the people who hauled tail as soon as it broke out weren't pepper sprayed. The innocent who ran towards the fight to get a good seat for the show and were sprayed or thumped by cops won't be so fast to run into the crowd next time.

I couldn't even make out what you are trying to say. I had to stop reading, as my head began to hurt. You stating you are an "upperclassmen" at LHS terrifies me. Your spelling and grammar are atrocious. I would suggest when you get to school on Monday you ask for your money back. If you are representative of the education given there then this fight is the least of the problems at that school.

one word DENIAL
A few months ago we saw a few instances of gang violence. Our answer, FTWW. "Army recruits gangs, close the post, can't wait for them to leave". Well the Army found a few of the guilty and is dealing with them. In another article a student had to change schools because of his gang affiliation, mommy and daddy sued so he could play football.
Now here we are again. "The article doesn't say anything about gangs". It shouldn't have to. Do you honestly think because you watched Colors you know about gangs. I hate to break it to you but they don't all wear Chinos, flanel shirt buttoned at the top, and a red or blue doo rag. They aren't going to all come pulling up in a low rider. Even if this weren't gang related it better be treated as such. Large group doing violence on another group. HMMM what else could it be.
So keep on denying the situation, "it's not a gang", "not our kids" "scumbag soldiers, send'em to Iraq", "the kid is a quarterback he can't be held accountable". Just keep your head in the sand until a gang member walks up to you introduces himself as such and draws a target on his own chest so you know exactly who needs shot.

Stakholder Finially an intelligent arguement (thank you). Two possibilities, maybe they now realize she'll soon be swinging a bigger hammer. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Posibility two, putting her in the White House will keep her out of thier financial playground. While the cat's away.... Just a thought, again thanks for the intelligent arguement.

Ohhheeee, this is going to be another good one, let me see if I can help get this thing going.
If wolves were allowed to have same sex marriages and abortions there wouldn't be as much of a population problem. I think thats the way God, or lack there of, wants it. Oh yea and Palin wants it to.
