ST. MARYS, Alaska - The person killed in a house fire in the western Alaska village of St. Marys last month was a 22-year-old local man.

Alaska State Troopers say the victim was Anthony Sipary.

The state medical examiner confirmed the identity of the body.

Sipary was found in the burned home Nov. 30.

Troopers say no foul play is suspected and that Sipary's death was consistent with dying in an accidental fire.

St. Marys is on the Andreafsky River five miles from where it dumps into the Yukon River. The village of 554 is about 450 miles northwest of Anchorage.
