Special features: Trail offers panoramic views of the Chena River valley, including the Alaska Range, Granite Tors, Chena Dome and Far Mountain. In August, blueberry patches line the ridge to the hot springs.
If you go: The trailhead is located at Mile 48.9 Chena Hot Springs Road. There is a $5 per day fee to park vehicles there.
