Thanksgiving dinner in Fairbanks planned for Native cancer survivors

FAIRBANKS — Hopeful Connections, a support group for Alaska Native cancer survivors and their loved ones, will host a Thanksgiving dinner at 5:30 p.m. today at the Hannah Solomon Building at 317 Wendell Ave. in Fairbanks.

Attendees can bring a dish to share. There will be door prizes.

The Fairbanks Native Association and the University of Alaska Fairbanks host the support group.
