State proposes Medicaid changes

FAIRBANKS — The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services is considering changing the way providers are paid for home- and community-based Medicaid waiver services.

Public comment on the proposed changes will be accepted until 4 p.m. Jan. 18.

A copy of the proposed changes is available at the department’s public notice page online: http://hss.state.ak.us/apps/publicnotice/regulations.aspx.
