Christopher Eshleman started reporting five years ago as a freelance writer in Pennsylvania. Since then he has written for daily, weekly and monthly publications including, for the past two years, the Daily News-Miner. With experience covering planning and zoning, municipal and state politics, taxes, road planning and neighborhoods, he currently covers local governments for the Daily News-Miner. He has studied English and holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Pittsburgh.
