The Alaska Nanooks hockey team is starring in an educational CPR video that is making its premiere at 7 p.m. today in the Schaible Auditorium on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus.

The event is hosted by the Golden Heart Community Foundation, the University of Alaska fairbanks and the Fairbanks Hospital Foundation.

According to the press release, the Nanooks will disco to “Stayin Alive” by the Bee Gees in the video.

Popcorn and soda will be available.

The video also will be played at the Nanooks hockey game against Alabama Huntsville on Friday at the Carlson Center as part of “With All Your Heart” night.  Puck drop is set for 7:07 p.m.

The Fairbanks Hospital Foundation will be giving away free cowbells Friday night as well.

“With All Your Heart” was founded by former Nanooks defenseman Kaare Odegard and Nanooks office manager Shawn Head as way to raise money for the Harry and Sally Porter Heart Center at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital.

More information about the “With All Your Heart” campaign can be found at www. FairbanksHospital

Foundation.com.

The Nanooks and Chargers play Friday and Saturday night at the Carlson Center. Each game begins at 7:07 p.m.
