After going unbeaten in pool play, Fairbanks’ Anne O’Hara and Team Kevin Tuma was eliminated in Sunday’s semifinal round of the USA Curling World Youth Olympic Games Trials in Golden, Colorado.

Team Kevin Tuma fell 9-7 to Team Charlie Thompson, which went on to win the championship match 5-4 and advance to the 2020 Winter Youth Olympic Games, which take place Jan. 10-22 in Lausanne, Switzerland.

O’Hara was the lead for Team Tuma. Kevin Tuma and Sidney Harris, curlers from St. Paul, Minnesota, were the skip and second, respectively, and Sara Olson, of Duluth, Minnesota, was the third.
