TT Tagovailoa and Harmony Laa’pui each registered double-digits kills to help the Lathrop Malemutes volleyball team to a 25-5, 25-6, 25-20 win over the West Valley Wolfpack in Friday night’s Mid Alaska Conference match at Lathrop High School.

Tagovailoa delivered a match-high 19 kills to go with three blocks and three assists. Laa’pui provided 10 kills, five blocks and three assists.

Lathrop got 10 digs, eight kills and three assists from Koretta Muai and a match-high nine blocks from Jenna Sager, who also had five kills and two digs.

Kelli Fitzgerald contributed seven digs and Emma Rubin had six assists, five kills and five blocks for the Malemutes, who host the North Pole Patriots in a MAC match at 6 p.m. today.

Skyler Wolf had a match-best 15 digs for West Valley. She also contributed a team-high seven kills and was among three Wolfpack who made 10 serves with an ace and no errors. Pam Noll and Kenya Pulgarin were the other two.

Noll also had five kills.  Rachel Cockman contributed four blocks, all for points, and Ali May had five assists for the Wolfpack.

West Valley hosts Lathrop at 6 p.m. Thursday.
