Martha Hanlon was the women’s champion and Tom Chadwick was the men’s champion of the Fairbanks Golf Association’s 2019 Senior Amateur Golf Tournament, held Saturday and Sunday at Chena Bend Golf Course.

In the women’s tournament, the net winner was Kelly Oines. She also won closest to the pin on Sunday. Karla Sullivan was the gross winner and Fran Westervelt was the net winner. The second flight winners were Marggie Rogge and Valerie Therrien. The most accurate drive was awarded to Sherri Fisler.

In the men’s tournament, the net winner was Paul Lindhag. Paul also won closest to the pin on Sunday. Mike Shultz was the gross winner and Vic Lajiness was the net winner. The second flight winners were Glen Kravitz and Bert Mitman. Bruce Laiti won the most accurate drive award.

In the women’s Super Senior division, for those 70 and over, Sherri Fisler was the gross winner and Fran Westervelt was the net winner in the first flight. Marggie Rogge was the gross winner and Lana Assyd was the net winner in the second flight.

In the men’s Super Senior division, Tom Chadwick was the gross winner and Tom Downes was the net winner in the championship flight. Vic Lajiness was the gross winner and Mike Shultz was the net winner in the second flight.
