Tobias Albrigtsen and Melanie Nussbaumer posted the top 5-kilometer efforts Saturday in the Golden Heart Trail Run at the Birch Hill Recreation Area.
Albrigtsen completed the course in 17 minutes, 49.6 seconds and Nussbaumer paced the women’s field in 21:39.7.
Logan Mowry, a University of Alaska Fairbanks runner and former Lathrop High School standout, was the overall 5K runner-up in 18:09.2. Devin McDowell, who raced for Lathrop and Montana State University, came in third overall in 18:49.2.
Beth Zirbes was the women’s 5K runner-up in 23:29.1 and Sage Robine took third in 24:01.9.
Curtis Beck and Anna Bailey had the fastest efforts among the 2.5K participants.
Beck finished in 10:39.5 and Bailey ended the race in 10:52.9.
Kasper Bennedsen was the boys runner-up in 10:41.1 and Wade Harry was third in 10:51.6. Sage Personett was second among the girls in 11:25.3 and Keira Irish placed third in 11:57.3.
The race featured a 1K for participants 7 and younger.
Oliver Taylor won overall in 4:36.7, while Aiden Pheysey was second in 5:22.0 and Jack Burnett third in 5:24.0.
Kinley Carey led the girls in 5:24.9. Eden Personett was second in 5:26.1 and Lily Simko third in 5:38.7.
