JUNEAU, Alaska - A Juneau, Alaska, airport official says a single-engine plane crashed Thursday afternoon at the Juneau International Airport but its two occupants were not hurt.

Deputy Airport Manager Patricia de La Bruere tells the Juneau Empire that the pilot and passenger of the Cessna 150 were evaluated by medics. They were not identified. The official says the privately owned plane is based in Juneau.

National Transportation Safety Board investigator Brice Banning tells KTUU-TV that the plane was practicing touch-and-go landings when the left main landing gear failed and the plane ended up off the runway.
