KODIAK, Alaska - The Coast Guard has suspended its search for a fisherman who fell overboard after getting caught in crab pot lines.

The Coast Guard says the fisherman went overboard while setting gear from the Kodiak-based fishing vessel Flying Ocean on Thursday morning.

KMXT-FM (http://is.gd/bpSG3I) says the Coast Guard suspended its search Thursday night 30 miles northwest of Sitkinak Island. The Coast Guard has not identified the fisherman.

The Coast Guard used a cutter, helicopter and airplane to search the area.
