SITKA, Alaska - The search continues for a Sitka woman missing for nearly two weeks.

KCAW reports (http://is.gd/92MjsD) 33-year-old Lael Grant was last spotted at a store on either Oct. 15 or Oct. 16. Her car was found last Saturday, parked at the end of Nelson Logging Road near a shooting range.

More than 40 people helped search for Grant starting last Friday.

Sitka Mountain Rescue director Don Kluting says a widespread ground search was suspended on Wednesday. But he says they continue to search targeted areas, based upon leads gathered by the Sitka Police Department.
