SITKA, Alaska - The search will continue Tuesday for a 33-year-old Sitka woman missing for more than a week.

The Daily Sitka Sentinel reports (http://is.gd/mmU67G) that police and Sitka Mountain Rescue also are asking for the public's help for information in their search for Lael Grant.

The last confirmed sighting of Grant was Oct. 15 or Oct. 16. Her car was found parked Saturday at the end of Nelson Logging Road near a shooting range. However, there also have been unconfirmed reports that she may have been spotted in town

Sitka Mountain Rescue Director Don Kluting says they are looking for anyone who has had contact with her or a confirmed sighting and when that was.

Searches over the weekend and Monday in the area where her car was found didn't provide clues.
