FAIRBANKS—Santa’s Clearing House elves can use some helping hands and extra muscle today to sort, organize and box groceries that are being delivered in the morning. Show up for an hour or two or more if you have the time and energy to participate.

Each of the 650 families with children referred each holiday is given a week’s worth of groceries and food for a holiday meal, and the children receive age-appropriate gifts.

Santa’s Clearing House is located in the former Alaska Railroad depot located behind the News-Miner building. Lunches would be appreciated for hardworking workers.

Anyone wishing to make monetary donations to help pay the grocery bill may do so by credit card or cash at the News-Miner front desk, or by mailing a check to Santa’s Clearing House, P.O. Box 70710, Fairbanks, AK 99707.
