Denali Center residents lined up outside — positioned 6 feet apart in spots marked by pink chalk hearts — as they waited for the Pioneers Parade for Health Care to pass by the center. Leading the parade Thursday were Robin and Joy McDougall, the Pioneers of Alaska 2020 king and queen regents, pictured above in the back of a Ford Model T. The parade, hosted by the Pioneers of Alaska, began at 1:30 p.m., starting in the Shopper’s Forum parking lot and looping around Fairbanks Memorial Hospital in honor of health care workers and those residents who call the Denali Center home.
