Over a dozen local kids spent most of the week attending classes on clown training as dozens of clowns from around the globe converged on Fairbanks for the World Clown Association's 25th annual Clown Convention at the Fairbanks Princess Riverside Lodge. Classes, competitions, meetings, parties, public shows, and banquets were all part of the itinerary for the funny-faces folks who spent the week slipping in and out of character for the different events.
