2008 Midnight Sun Run

More than 3,500 runners took to the streets as hundreds of Fairbanksans cheered them on the 26th annual Midnight Sun Run on June 21, 2008.

The Fairbanks Jazzercize group provided an energizing warmup for the crowd and participants in the 2008 Midnight Sun Run.

As part of the annual tradition, many participants arrived in costume for this year's Midnight Sun Run on June 14, 2008. Ashleigh Strange was dressed as the Phantom of the Opera, and Caroline Strange as his lady friend, Christine.
