This aerial photo was taken in the summer of 1941 and shows Fairbanks with a strip o fpavement on 2nd Avenue between Cushman and Lacey streets adn probaby a paved Cushman to some point. In teh lower left is Doc Suthland's house, then on the southeast corner of First and Cowles, and, like most of the buildings in this picture, is no longer standing. Look at all the great little cabins along "the line!"
