6 people injured in stolen vehicle crash

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Six people have been hospitalized after a stolen vehicle collided with an SUV.

KTUU-TV ( says the collision occurred at about 11 p.m. Sunday in mid-town Anchorage. Three of those injured are in extremely critical condition.

Anchorage Police say a patrol officer began pursuing the stolen vehicle as it headed south on C Street. Police say the vehicle with five occupants ran through a red light at 15th Ave., colliding with an east bound SUV.

The only occupant of the SUV, 31-year-old Mylinda Forrester was partially ejected from her vehicle.

Anchorage police say the stolen vehicle was driven by 24-year-old Kevin Wright, a resident of Joplin, Missouri.

Wright and another male passenger were transported to an Anchorage hospital in critical condition.
