photos with your great wedding photo at the end! Congratulations, newlyweds! mfcjr, I believe you're flirting with me (batting those eyelashes big time! LOL). I had a hair dresser that cut hair really well. I had people tell me on the train how great my hair cut was. I guess mass transit can boost one's ego LOL. I think I'm giddy with the sun being out so much now that spring has sprung! I hope I can keep the giddiness up as I clean today!! :) Have a good day everyone!
Joanne, you cracked me up this morning! I had a visual that went along with jogging with the cats at the end of the leash. Grany, know that during the week that I'm up at your 3:00 a.m. and usually at my desk or just getting there. I get up at 4:30 a.m. (because natural beauty takes time LOL) about 12:30 a.m. your time and leave about 6. I like getting there when it's still quiet and settle in and take care of some stuff quickly before everyone else gets in. Susie, thanks for sharing the great
Good morning All I hope all is well. Not much happening here at the cabin, just enjoying another day off. Snowman cam is facing a court date and they need support. If you're interested the website is www.snowmancam.com I know they can use all the email and financial support possible. Quiet day here in Monterey. Cool temperatures and rv living is so peaceful. Burgers today on the grill, watched movies and hopefully getting some sleep now. I kind of thought that the insomnia thing might leave after we left the military life, but not so much. Still working on it....Night everyone.
granny dear, it's been a long time since I've really been on here due to several factors, one of them was that my machine that I know how to work was broken. Also we've had all kinds of sickness around our igloo over the last couple of months. Anyway, I'll be around a whole lot more now that I have a new machine as well as the arthritis in my hands has gotten a whole lot better.
grany - I tried to follow the directions that Chelle gave me to create a profile so hopefully now everybody can put me in the buddy bin thing, I just thought I'd give it a whirl and didn't mean to make it all complicated, lol. Anyway, I tried, so hopefully it is OK now, lol. Headin out to Chatanika again tomorrow or out to the Dog Sled races, take care everyone.
susie77...loved the pics! Were you really newly married in 9/2009? Good descriptive writing, also...poetic. Liked it! Tammy...it's hard to believe that you were there three years and never got up in the night! I hope that you will set your alarm for the aurora when you move back! Or maybe someone can call and wake you! Maybe Granny will do it; she'll probably be awake anyway! So, KittyCatt...I suppose a pet stroller is better than putting a leash on and trying to 'jog' with them!
Susie77 - We have a house that is just off College Road in town. It's a rental now that we are not there but we plan to come back and live in it. We are also hoping to buy some land in the hills and build a logcabin house later. I'm a military wife and Fairbanks is one of the places that really felt like home to me. I miss it and my friends. Off to bed. My nice weather has ended and the rain is coming tomorrow with a drop in the temps also. UGH!!
Who was at the camera? Hmmmm. I hope everyone is well today it's 40 out here at the cabin. To all who don't live in Fbks this is a great place to live. This year will be Our 21St year here. Good to see borealFox, travelTwitty back on the cam sure miss Ya. DieselDive I can't figure out how to gat on Your Buddie list I'll keep trying. Well on My way out for a walk Everyone have a wonderful evening and God bless All.
Wow! Just saw the temperature at 36 degrees. Man I bet people are wearing shorts right now!! I know I would be wearing my capris if I was living there. Have fun Fairbanks. Enjoy your spring!!!!
susie77 - Wonderful photos. The aurora was beautiful. We lived in AK for three years and I have to admit I was never able to see the lights. I was in bed early in the winter and don't remember going to bed in the summer. LOL! Good luck on getting to move to AK. When hubby retires from Army we plan to move back into our house in Alaska. I'm so looking forward to it. 3 yrs and 3 months give or take a few weeks.
