Four weeks ago he had a CT scan that found lesions on the liver. Last week he had fluid off his lungs which tested positive for cancer. Next day he weakened and by 2 am I woke to find he had passed away in his sleep.For the past 2 weeks he sounded like he had a lung infection because it had gone into his lung. As I look back there were signs things were not right, but only twice did he complain of pain and hardness under his right rib. Thank you for your donation and all for your kindness.

There is something that you can do for us, aksala, is that you don't want flowers type of thing. And that's understandable as a lot of people are like that where they just want family even for a service type of thing. And we really do respect that. However, if you would let us please know what he died of we can donate money in his name to whatever. Such as if it was a heart attack we could send the money to them. Please allow us to do something such that as there are several of us together

A few minutes ago I heard a whole lot of laughter coming from the doorway. Should have known who it was that was coming in, well now it's just over 45 minutes. But It's Grany! That's all you hear when she's around as her & Pam are always laughing. When Grany is here there's always a squirt bottle sitting next to me. It's used to run the cats off from around Grany as she can get "scratch cat fever" that will put her in hospital. Always thought it was a joke until meeting Grany.

Aksala, thanks for adding that part about verbal sparring and bantering being done in fun. There have been times where I thought about hurting someone. Now I know better. Keeping you and yours in my thoughts. I know from reading your posts you are a strong woman and as much as it hurts you will weather this storm too.
