Trick-or-treat thanks

To the editor: We were invited to a friend’s house for a Halloween party around the Kody/Bentley/Slater drive area. We walked around the neighborhood and trick-or-treated with our 11-year-old headless man and 7-year-old vampire. We were pleasantly surprised at how many houses really went all out with Halloween decorations. It was amazing at the time people spent with elaborate and spooky decorations. I appreciated that houses had their porch light on if they were participating and off if they were not.

There were tons of other families out enjoying themselves. One house was even giving away hot chocolate to warm us up!

Thank you to those of you in that surrounding area for such a nice time.
