To the editor: On Saturday, I went out to the 36 1/2 mile Chena Hot Springs Road shooting range and saw employees from a housing maintenance company, Corvias, which operates on Eielson Air Force Base, cleaning up the junk and grading the range.
They were a very pleasant bunch of avid shooters and took it on themselves to do a community service and clean up the shooting range for us. They put in new seats at the shooting benches, too.
So a hearty community thanks for their effort, and, please, let all of us who shoot there clean up after ourselves. And no shooting up the benches.
