Letter to the Editor

Our do-nothing delegation

To the editor: In the past year I have written our three congressional representatives, Dan Sullivan, Lisa Murkowski and Don Young, three times regarding solutions to the opioid crisis and the gross abuse of drugs in America and in our local area. I sent a number of articles from the News-Miner showing the disastrous results in Fairbanks of drug use: killings, robberies, assaults and erratic unsocial behaviors.

I have not received any answer, not one, from any of the three. Please tell me what exactly they have done or are doing to serve us in Congress. I am not aware of anything.

Are they too busy coping with and defending their president who, though they won’t admit it, was definitely erroneously elected as their party’s representative in the highest office in America?

I think it is time to replace all of them.
