O’Neall for assembly

To the editor: I am pleased to voice my support for Mindy O’Neall, who is running for Borough Assembly.

Approximately three years ago Ms. O’Neall was appointed to the borough Planning Commission. This is where I first met Mindy. As commissioners, we hear a diverse array of information from planning department staff, attorneys, and the public. Mindy was up to speed rapidly, asking pertinent questions, listening intently to all involved, and making wise decisions.

Mindy had wide support from fellow commissioners and was elected as chairperson, a position she held for the past year until being appointed to an empty Borough Assembly seat.

During this year as chairperson, her leadership skills were obvious. Mindy treated everyone with respect and kindness. Mindy’s concern for the future of our community, her compassion to those in need, and her seemingly endless amount of positive energy are just a few of the reasons she deserves your vote on Tuesday.
