Numbers don't add up

To the editor: How many people have died so far from this so called pandemic virus? About 70. How many people have died so far this year from seasonal flu? About 61,000. Look it up for yourself. Roughly the same amount of people die every year from seasonal flu. These numbers can and will fluctuate year by year, but it’s a given. Why is there such an urgency by the White House and mainstream media to push this as a major emergency? Over 60 or so deaths? Come on. Something’s not adding up here. Why is it we haven’t declared a national emergency over 61,000 flu deaths but do declare one for about 70 with coronavirus?

Food for thought.
