Letter to the Editor

A conservative choice

To the editor:This is really a banner year for the borough. We have more conservative candidates in one local election than in the last 10 years. Fairbanks has had quite the issue the last few years with poor fiscal discipline in our local bodies, driving taxes up. These candidates will help bring a needed balance to our governmental bodies:

City mayor: Jim Matherly

City Council Seat D: Aaron Gibson

Borough Assembly Seat B: Frank Tomaszewski

Borough Assembly Seat C: Jeffrey Rentzel

Borough Assembly Seat E: Jimi Cash

Borough Assembly Seat I: Zachary Floyd

School board Seat C: Matthew Sampson

School board Seat D: Mike Kenna.

The non-school board candidates in this list are also endorsed by the Interior Taxpayers’ Association.
