To the editor:

In reference to “Aid agents,” (Letters, Oct. 26): Everything Meg Helmer of Eagle said about the Samaritan’s Purse organization and the Mennonite Disaster Services could not be more accurate except that another group of volunteers (Sharing Hope Ministries) also came to Eagle from Pennsylvania.

This group goes not only around all the United States but around the world helping with disaster relief, building, rebuilding and finishing houses inside and out for the affected people and for the needy. Sharing Hope Ministries deserves as much, if not more, recognition for the invaluable job they did. I know that if these people did not come I would not be living in my house now. I am very thankful to God for bringing the Pennsylvanians to share their hope and generosity and to do such an incredible job. Thank you, Pennsylvanians! Also thank you to everyone in and out of Eagle who got involved in such a huge project.
