To the editor:

I liked the article you did on the soup kitchen and how Cindy Fields is gathering all of that food to feed the people of Fairbanks. That is a lot of food and a lot of guests.

I have helped out at the soup kitchen. I have put a good 20 hours in at that place, and I really enjoy helping all those people and the smiles I put on their faces.

Five hundred people is a lot. We usually have close to 150, but 500 is crazy. I am really proud of Cindy Fields; she is a really good person.
