FAIRBANKS - The Alaska Medical Examiner’s Office identified Thursday one of two victims killed in a motor home fire in South Fairbanks on Saturday night.

The identified victim was 28-year-old John B. Tegoseak, according to a news release from the Fairbanks Fire Department. Investigators are still trying to determine the identity of the second victim and the cause of the fire.

The fire was reported at 11:34 p.m. in a motor home parked in the back yard of 713 18th Ave. The two bodies were discovered inside the vehicle after the fire was put out.

Firefighters were already in the area, responding to a mobile home fire at 829 24th Ave. when the fatal fire was reported. There is no indication these two fires or a third fire Sunday morning at 2022 Rickert St. are related, according to the fire department.
