ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Old human remains have been found in the town of McGrath.

KTUU-TV (http://is.gd/KmpIVw) reports that the remains of an adult man, a teenager or young man, and an infant were found on land owned by an Alaska Native corporation.

The five-acre plot was being cleared by a construction company to be used to store rock for an erosion-control project planned for next year in the Kuskokwim River community.

Alaska State Troopers say construction workers found one set of remains on Oct. 2. An archaeologist with the Department of Natural Resources was called to McGrath. That person discovered the other two.

The corporation plans to have the remains and artifacts tested to see how old they are. Eventually, a proper burial will be held.
